dwgPlotX is the one-stop solution for batch plotting of AutoCAD drawing files. With this handy utility, multiple dwg files can be plotted with the click of a button, without the need to individually open and plot each file. This results in saving of precious man-hours . It will save the operator a lot of effort and prevent fatigue due to repetitive and boring task. It is faster than manually plotting and boosts the drawing office productivity by a large margin.

dwgPlotX has a simple and easy to use windows explorer style user-interface for file/folder selection. The selection of all the options,i.e. Plotter, Paper, Plot orientation, Plot Style table is possible through drop-down menus and input fields. The operator has to select the files/folders, set the parameters, and click the 'Plot' button - no knowledge of LISP or any kind of scripting language is required at all!

dwgPlotX automatically loads all the Xrefs (external references) of a drawing before plotting it.

Also available is a 'Multiple Folder Select Mode', with which the user can select any number of folders from the hard drive or network for plotting.

There are useful batch options like number of batches, number of copies and you can also choose to plot all the layouts with or without model space.

All the preferences can be saved so that every time dwgPlotX is run, you don't have to set all the parameters i.e. Plotter, Paper etc all over again.

Xtra Features

dwgPlotX can also Bulk Replace Strings- both normal texts and block attribute texts in the selected AutoCAD drawings (STREPLACE).

dwgPlotX can also Bulk Export the selected AutoCAD drawings to WMF, DXF, EPS or BMP formats.

Files can be accessed over the Network and plotted.

System Requirements

dwgPlotX has been tested on Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000 Platforms. It should be compatible with other versions of Windows also.

It is designed to be compatible with any AutoCAD version (except AutoCAD LT), but the tested versions are AutoCAD 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Compatibility may be checked by downloading the demo version. (AutoCAD is essentially required for the application to work).

(It is recommended to download and try out the demo version to rule out any compatibility issues.).
